360 Degrees Engineering Services Granted Electrical Contractor’s License by NEA

 

PORT MORESBY, PAPUA NEW GUINEA — August 15, 2025

360 Degrees Engineering Services (360DES), a Papua New Guinea–owned engineering consultancy and construction company, has officially received its Electrical Contractor’s License from the National Electrical Authority (NEA).       

The license authorizes 360DES to provide electrical contracting services across Papua New Guinea in full compliance with national safety and quality standards. This development further strengthens the company’s ability to deliver reliable, standards-compliant electrical solutions for a wide range of projects, including building services, solar electrification, and power distribution systems.  

“Obtaining this license is an important step in ensuring our services meet the highest regulatory requirements while continuing to address the growing demand for safe and sustainable electrical infrastructure,” said Tom Pakalu, Founder and Principal Engineer of 360DES.       

With this accreditation, 360DES is positioned to expand its work with communities, businesses, and development partners, offering services that support both urban infrastructure and rural electrification efforts nationwide.
